I did a transport quote on-line and noticed a local company here in Washington State (4 corners) that was able to ship my car from Michigan. I like doing business with companies within my home state, So I called 4 corners transport on 12/30/10 @ 1:49 pm central standard time(10:49 pm Pacific time). I was informed by 4 corners that it may be possible to ship my car if there was a driver headed to Washington over the New Year weekend. I told them fine. Ok! They said if not the first business day of the year which is Monday I should hear from them about a driver.I left Michigan on 12/31/10 for my flight back to Washington. It's now 9:53 am on Monday and I receive a call from another transport company, checking to see if I have a driver with 4 corners. I said No! I'm waiting for them to call. It's now 2:49 pm and I receive a call from American Auto Transport again checking to see if my car has a driver to Washington State. At this point I tell AAT, if you can find a driver today then you have my business. After an hr or so, I had a driver to transport my car. Out of common courtesy, I call 4 corners, left a message to cancel my order. No sooner after I hang up. I get a call from 4 corners. I let it go straight to voice mail. When I had time I listened to the voice mail of Ellen telling me how much I wasted her time and blah blah blah for 1 min. Wow! Really!
I'm a customer how can we waist your time? I was considering posting a link on You-Tube of the voice mail. But truly that would be a waist of time. By the way Jeff thanks for the E-mail. I can understand sometime how difficult it can be to run a business with your wife.

Mr. James King's order # 41392 placed his order on 12-30-2010 (one day before New Year's Eve) with the complete communication from Ellen that nothing would probably happen until after the New Years holiday.( NO PROMISES WERE MADE FOR THE WEEKEND 95 PERCENT OF THE CARRIERS WERE OFF FOR THE HOLIDAY ) Ellen spent the better part of 1 hour on the phone with Mr. King to full make sure this was understood. We operate and tell our customers that under normal circumstances the normal lead time is 1-4 days. Mr. King was told the vehicle would be picked up between Monday and Thuesday of this week, He agreed and signed up with our company, We have strong reviews for a reason. We do not lie to our customers our tell them what they want hear to just get the deal. We pride ourselves on honesty and integrity. This is why this review is so dissapointing. It is not true. Under no circumstance would we ever, ever promise activity over the New Years holiday,(his account is ficticous to say the least) Mr. King was told this at sign up and seemed fine with it and understood it. He called our company to cancel and the order Monday morning after the holday weekend. It was cancelled immediately upon his request. We bascially because of the holiday schedule were given 7 hours to move his vehicle. 5 hours on the 31st and 2 hours on the 1-3-2010. That is far cry from the 1-4 day lead time we promised. Mr King wanted to go with another company for some reason which is his right as a customer. Our contract s are excellant for customers. (We require no deposit until the carrier is hired) But to right a ficticious review like this seems a bit beneath Mr. King and quite unfair to our company.
