:::SUMMARY::::
My experience was with a very reliable broker and shipper. The price was competitive, a shipper was located quickly and the driver was fast, careful, and easy to reach. Overall I would say a great choice for shipping your car cross country and they will even try to match competitor's quotes (which I did not take advantage of personally).

:::The Story:::
I had never shipped a car before and was really concerned I might end up with a shady company. I went to an automated quote finder and got about a million emails and phone calls with quotes ranging from $800-$1300. A friend eventually was recommended 4 Corners by a local Volvo dealership so that made me feel more confident that they would do a good job. Their price was very competitive at $939 and I would rather pay an extra $50 or so to know I was using a reliable company.
Jeff said that most of the drivers take a vacation around labor day so he was eager to get my car listed, so my "official" pickup date was listed as 8/19 and the actual pickup was 8/23. So it was "late" according to the pickup date but on time with the information Jeff gave me and more than fast enough for me. I wanted my car to get to CA as soon as possible so I was very excited to get a call from the transport company the day before I flew out. Jeff and the driver called at about 10 am the day of pickup and the driver was very close and wanted to come by within 30 minutes. Not a big window of time to prepare but I knew they might locate a carrier as early as the 19th so the car was ready to go at least. I would have liked a little more notice, but that's the ONLY complaint I have (not bad).
The transport company was AY Trucking and the driver was Marcus. He was very nice and told me at pickup that he expected to be in CA around the 30th of August not the 3rd of September like Jeff had estimated. That made me even happier! He did a VERY thorough check of the car before loading it. He left PA on Thursday or Friday I believe and got to CA on Monday (crazy).
Marcus called me the day before the expected delivery (8/29) to give me a time frame of when he expected to be in on the 30th. On the 30th Marcus called again to let me know that they had been held up at a weigh station and would still be arriving that day, but that it would be later in the evening. I didn't have a problem with that and was very happy that he called to let me know. He was also available whenever I called him to ask a question or confirm something so that was also great. The delivery date was still the 30th so it was on time from the original estimate.
The car arrived with no damage and far cleaner than I expected. Just a thin layer of dirt that will come off easily in a car wash. Mine was on the lower level behind the cab so it was in a good spot to stay clean. I'm sure vehicles on the top were dirtier than mine. Of course the next day a rock cracked my windshield, but that's not their problem.
