I contracted through 4 Corners Auto Transport as the BROKER because they had a 5 star rating on transport reviews, despite the fact that their quote was a bit higher cost. I wanted to be sure the transport of my car across the country was timely and handled by professionals. 4 Corners Transport enlisted OK Auto Carrier as the car CARRIER. The driver pushed to pick-up the vehicle early and arrived at 7 am (woke me up with the call). Transport time was estimated at 7-10 days, and I was told that 10 days would be more than sufficient and even probably gave a bit of cushion. Despite early pickup, my car was delivered on the 15th day. The car was in good condition.

I have numerous complaints of the CARRIER, OK auto carrier...which can be read on transport reviews.com for that company. However, these complaints do not apply to 4 Corners. Jeff and Ellen at 4 Corners were very responsive to my calls, worked hard to get updates and find explanations for the delays (2 separate mechanical problems for transport of my car), and were friendly and professional. However, this did not help me to get my car on time as promised. 4 Corners has some responsibility in contracting with reputable carriers, and as such I am obligated to express discontent with their choice of carrier that ultimately messed up my experience. I think Jeff and Ellen can agree that this was an example of what happens when things go bad, and I welcome their response. Although I would possibly give 4 Corners another try in the future, I would be sure to specify not to use OK Auto Carrier. In fact, I would ask upfront for a guarantee to only contract with a carrier that has an excellent track record. After all, it is the carrier not the broker that ultimately controls the delivery of your vehicle!

We fully agree with Jonathan regarding our responsibilty in finding a reputable carrier to transport our customers vehicles. We take this very serious. Although we have worked with OK Carrier many times in the past few years without any problems or complaints this particular transport was more than troublesome. We as brokers know delays happen either via mechanical faillures, weather conditions, road conditions or delays at pick up and delivery. In this case however a lot of Mr. Tings frustration could have been avoided by Ok Carrier communicating more truthfully and promptly with both us and Mr. Ting. Therefor to avoid this from happening in the future we have decided not to trust our clients vehicles to OK Carrier anymore.
