I scheduled my pickup date and delivery well over 2 months in advance, which is when I paid the $150 deposit. I singed a contract to move the vehicle for $950 total. About 2 weeks prior to pickup I began trying to contact them again to verify we were still on schedule. That is when the stupidity started. First thing I was told is that I hadn't paid my deposit. I got my Venmo receipt. Not good enough. Then got FULL receipt showing bank routing numbers, transfer dates etc, okay all good. Then they tell me it will cost $1350 due to my late booking. Cept my contract was dated early March, pickup date, May 28th. I refused to pay that. They tried multiple times to force me to take the higher rate. I refused. Then they missed their pickup date and the contracted delay times. They then refused to refund my deposit. They stated they did their job and got me a truck, for $1350. They blamed fuel prices. I went through their contract, they did NOT have a fuel escalation clause. They then tried to use their Force Majeure clause stating that they could NOT complete the contract for that price. I stated if they could NOT meet their contracted requirements, refund my money. They stated they could NOT do so since they had paid their rep my money and could NOT get it back. Complete BS. They are a horrible company. They take your money via Venmo and you have ZERO RECOURSE other than smalls claims court to recoup your losses. Don't use these guys. There are multiple transport companies that are better. As an example. While this group was telling me they could NOT fulfill their contract, 2 weeks after their failed to move my vehicle and our contracted time had expired, diesel prices were higher, I had my Jeep picked up and hauled for $50 dollars LESS than my original total price of $950.
