After being inundated with quotes and phone calls from shipping brokers, I chose Zip Ship because of their positive reviews. Reviews of other companies had either 5 stars or 0 stars. Zip Ship had all 4 or 5 star reviews so I hesitantly took a chance on them. Steve was extremely helpful and patient to work with. He took the time to answer all my questions, educated me on how the shipping business works, and did his best to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Even though the car was not picked up on the first available date, there really wasn't anything Steve could have done to avoid that. All the brokers are at the mercy of the truck drivers, their schedules, and what they want for payment to do the hauling. Brokers are basically performing a balancing act between their customers and the truck drivers. I did end up paying a little more than the original quote when all was said and done, but the price was still competitive and even less than some of the other quotes I had received. I would definitely recommend Steve at Zip Ship to anyone needing a car transported. He was fair, returned my phone calls, friendly, and low pressure. Definitely a 5 star experience.
