This is the first time I've used an auto transport company and I wasn't sure where to begin. Laura at Zip Ship made both my decision and the process a lot less nerve wracking than anticipated. Not only was Laura friendly but upfront in explaining how the auto shipping process works from start to finish. She gave me an honest yet fair and reasonable quote, rather than luring me with a lowballed figure like other companies attempted to do. I'm particularly impressed by the fact Zip Ship doesn't take a deposit until *after* the vehicle is loaded on the truck, whereas other companies wanted payment just to list the car on dispatch. I admit I got worried when, after 3 days, the first driver appeared unable to fulfill his obligation, but when Laura saw there might be an issue, she quickly remedied the situation and found a second driver who picked up my car the very next day, still within our time window and for the same price originally agreed upon. Even better, the driver delivered the car to my husband the following afternoon! My husband is happy, as am I, thanks to both Laura and the driver's efforts. I'm hoping I don't move again for a while but if the need arises for car transport, I would definitely use Zip Ship again.
