You and Me Auto Shipping quoted a price. We scheduled the transport based on that price. Then on the day the car was to be picked up by the transporter, the price went up from $550 to $750 (36% increase). We pointed this out to them and they said the first price was just an estimate. When I looked at all the communications from the company, no where did they say it was just an estimate. The communications included a text message and an email, which they sent at my request to confirm the price. I was then left with the choice of (1)cancelling the scheduled transport and selecting another transport company, which would delay shipment of the car by two days or so, or (2 paying their higher price. Because I needed the car right away, I had to pay their higher price. When I complained, they became very rude. This company has poor business ethics. Do not use them.
