Got the job done

I did a lot of research on how to choose a broker, I selected Yellowfin Logistics because they were near my state and they (Jason) committed to a not to exceed price. Like all of the other people that complained about brokers wanting more money at the last minute, Yellowfin was no different. Jason called and said the “shipper” wanted an extra $100 above what he promised me. Because it had been 7 days and I was concerned about the impact of closures due to the Coronavirus I offered $50 and the deal went through. I paid Yellowfin $100, which I considered very fair. I was worried about the Shipper, Taurus Auto Group, because the reviews were so so. I got the drivers phone number and tried to talk to him but he didn't speak english but he did communicate well via texting. He kept me informed, picked up the jeep on Friday and delivered it on Monday, right on time. to my front door. Overall, I am happy with the experience but I wish Yellowfin would quit this bait and switch scam, otherwise I could have given them 5 stars, but unfortunately, it seems to be the nature of the business.

It’s such a great validation to know we gained your confidence and we couldn’t be happier to receive confirmation from you that your vehicle was delivered successfully to your doorstep within the appointed timeframe. We are, however, truly disappointed to hear that you feel our agent, Jason, misrepresented our service to you. We instruct all our agents to make it quite clear to our customers that any offer we present them are, quite literally, merely offers. A client is free to accept or reject any offer we put forward as an option. Should a client reject an offer, we would merely proceed with finding another Carrier that complied more fully with their requirements. As you rightly pinpoint, the Coronavirus has thrown a spanner in the works of most industries. Carriers are less and less interested in venturing out and some of those who are still willing are raising their rates. Should our agent have failed to make any of the above clear to you, we must apologise. We also thank you for bringing this to our attention, PT, and commit to ensuring this is better communicated from here on out.
