Bait and Switch/threatened

Now that I have my car, I can give a full review. We set a date on 14th of July to have our car picked up on the 23rd. A good two weeks prior to the shipping date, the day of the 23rd we were told the car would be picked up on the 24th. Not exactly what was agreed upon but no problem, things happen. The 24th rolls around and Allen calls us to inform us that the truck would not make it on time and that since we needed it picked up today (in his words, a rush) that the company needed an independant car hauler to pick it up and instead of the original $750.00 we were quoted 900.00 to which my wife was upset that we were being charged an additional amount when Xpress transportion couldn't fulfill their end of the agreement due to "mechanical issues or running late" (can't remember the EXCUSE.) Needless to say I was very upset that Xpress was blaming us and ultimately charging us for them not holding up their end of the deal. So I came onto this very website and put a review on here about my experience. Obviously it wasn't a glowing review for this company and the very next day, Allen decided to call both me and my mother (who was helping my wife) and THREATEN us. He threatened to charge me an additional 50.00 because the actual price was 900.00 for the outside vendor but they reduced it 50.00 making it 850.00 Allen told me verbatim “If you don’t correct the review and get it correct, I’ll just go ahead; since I have your credit card on file, and charge you the additional $50. Is that what you want?” I asked him if he was threatening me and he said: “No, but if your gonna review something make sure your information is correct.” So I pulled off my first review so he wouldn’t charge me an additional 50.00. Now that my care was delivered (850.00 total) I’m gonna give an accurate review like Allen wanted. He then called back five minutes later telling me he was sorry for talking to me like he did. (Don’t worry Allen I’ll make sure to say you called back with a half-hearted attempt at an apology) I finally received my vehicle from the independent driver this morning July 31st. I don’t know about anyone else but I always thought that when you went into business or had a business your most important aspect is the client?? Its funny that all you see is positive reviews from them, I wonder if I have been the only one who was threatened? I’m not gonna tell you whether you should use Xpress Transportation LLC I am just giving you my very recent experience with their “company” Just for your information Xpress Transportation, after this review, Allen, I will be lodging a complaint with the BBB, I plan on posting this review on Facebook, as well as any other review site I can find. I’m sure your boss will appreciate all of the attention I plan on giving you guys!
