Poor Communications, Fair Price

The driver did not arrive on the designated day, a great inconvenience to us. He was a subcontractor of a subcontractor. Attempts to contact anyone in charge about pickup time and location was near impossible.

The actual delivery went smoothly and took much less time, 3.5 days than expected.

The price was amoung the lowest quoted. You'll need to fork over $100 deposit to book with them. If you charge that on a credit card, they add a $5 fee just to pi** you off.

The driver will only accept cash a delivery which can be a major disadvantage of booking with them.

First of all, we're unsure what Mr. Amcher (El Caringo) means that the driver was "a subcontractor of a subcontractor." All carriers that haul for us book vehicles to their own company's truck directly through our office. They have to provide copies of their DOT and insurance information in advance of transporting our customer's vehicles. Also, our terms and conditions state that "we cannot guarantee specific pick up and delivery dates," and "all dates given are in approximation." We are available in the office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. central time for questions or concerns. As far as scheduling, we contact ALL customers when their vehicle is assigned to a carrier with an estimate of pick up and delivery (as a courtesy call). It is then the driver's responsibility of the driver to call to arrange pick up and delivery 12-24 hours in advance. Our terms and conditions contain information regarding the $5 processing fee and our "money back guarantee" for the deposit paid in advance. Booking fees are commonplace in this industry, and are not to intentionally frustrate customers. Drivers PREFER to receive their payment on delivery by cash, cashier's check or money order - because of the few companies out there that have ruined convenience by not mailing payments in a timely manner. Therefore, they are more likely to transport vehicles paying COD prior to transporting vehicles with a billing attached to them. Most of our customers do not see this as a disadvantage, and again we are very up front with this before customers decide to book with us. Jessica M. Customer Svc.
