Don't use Wise

When I received my pickup it had damage on the roof from being on top of the trailer and hitting tree branches. At the time my truck was delivered it was on the bottom. And a vehicle that had extensive accident damage was above mine. My pickup had motor oil, large clumps of or dirt, rocks and black soot all over it. I later found out the tires were inflated to over 60 pounds, I have no idea why. But that pressure put my safety at risk and risked damaging my vehicle.

And best of all my pickup had 53 more miles on when it was delivered then when it was picked up, and more then a quarter of a tank of gas was gone. The Wise rep told me the driver has a great reputation. The drive was smart enough to cover his butt and not to put the mileage on the origin inspection paper work. That was the only blank box on the form.

Wise auto shipping was not nearly the cheapest quote. I thought I was paying for good service I could trust.

First off, we will apologize yet again to Mr. Sheldon for not being able to resolve his claim in the manner in which he requested and then later demanded (with threat of this review). However, the bulk of this review is blatantly exaggerated and and act of clear exploitation of our Company by Mr. Sheldon. We would like the opportunity to voice ours and our carriers side in this claim. It is true that Mr. Sheldon's car was delivered with minor surface scratches as he states, but the rest of his claim holds no validity and is completely falsified. Upon delivery of Mr. Sheldon's car, both the driver and Mr. Sheldon noted surface scratches on the hood of his vehicle. Rather than filing a damage claim, which would be standard protocol, Mr. Sheldon and the carrier decide that the damage was too minor to go through the trouble of filing a claim and agreed that a nominal amount deducted from the COD balance would suffice. This was documented on the Bill Of Lading and then signed for by Mr. Sheldon and the carrier. Two days later, Mr. Sheldon contacts Wise to file a damage claim against the carrier for said scratches. In doing so he conveniently leaves out the part about the agreement and discount which was made with carrier upon delivery. In the process of filing the damage claim for Mr. Sheldon, we became aware of the agreement and contacted the carrier and their insurance agent to determine how they would like to proceed. It was determined that the carriers insurance would accept the claim, but Mr. Sheldon would need to pay the remainder of the agreed upon rate before the claim could be filed. At this point, Mr. Sheldon became disgruntled and demands that his money be refunded for the entire shipment or he would leave us a negative review on TR.com. He also then claims that his car was driven without his authorization 60 miles and that his tires were inflated to 60psi?? and that he would be stating this in the review as well, unless we proceeded in refunding him for the entire shipment. At this point we informed Mr. Sheldon that we would be more than happy to assist him in filing a claim for these issues and in making sure he was completely satisfied with his transport. However, he would need to send over the documents validating his additional claims. He was reluctant in agreeing to the new terms set by claims processor and here we are. In the process of shipping literally thousands of cars per year, there are going to be a few nicks along the way. Wise Auto Shipping strives to limit these occurrences to a minimum and promises that in the unlikely event where one of our vehicles is damaged in transit, that we will do everything in our power to make things right. However, with those few occurrences you are going to have a small number of customers that you just can't satisfy no matter how hard you try. Whatever you offer, they are always going to want more. Mr Sheldon is an example of just that customer. He tried to take advantage of both Wise Auto Shipping and our Contracted Carrier with his exaggerated claims and then threatens to use negative reviews to exploit us if his demands are not met. We're sorry but this doesn't sit right with us. Again we are terribly sorry for the damage that was caused during transit and any other issues that may have came about from this transport. Wise Auto Shipping represents the best of the auto transportation industry and will continue to prove that with our 99% customer satisfaction rating.
