Working w/ Sue and Wheeler Shipping was a wonderful experience. Sue explained the ins and outs of the of the industry and made me feel comfortable handing my car over for a cross country journey. One little incident I would have liked to have been prepared for: When I was contacted by the carrier who said my car would be picked up w/in the next couple of hours I was told that I would have to figure out a truck route near my neighborhood where I could meet the driver. I was unprepared for this as was the driver who failed to call me until the next day. On the day of pick up the disgruntled and surly driver was quite frustrated at trying to maneuver his 18-wheeler through the narrow San Francisco streets looking to me for directions. Of course, I knew nothing about where to drive or park a truck, further I didn't know how I was going to get back home after dropping off my car at a distant location. So, the pick up was two days of stress. However, the drop off was quick, painless and refreshing. When I brought this incident up to Sue at Wheeler Shipping she was attentive and was quick to suggest that future customers be made aware of this possible head ache and that drivers alike find easy routes through my San Francisco. Unfortunately, there was not much else that could be done nor should there be, one may argue. In all this was a positive experience and I look forward to working with Sue and Wheeler Shipping again in the future.
