My car was ready for p/u april 24. after waiting a week, I called. They said "maybe tomorrow". after three weeks of tomorrow never happening, and being stuck with no car, I lost my patience with this guy. He had my money, and never answered any of my questions, never returned phone calls, not once, and never responded to ANY of my emails even though he claims he did. When I said my name, his office girl "accidentally" lost my messages. Each and every time. Some co-incidence. I called him based on good reviews, but he was far from that. Although he was happy to take my money, he was great at making one excuse after another, mostly blaming high gas prices for the lack of drivers, and became very quick at losing his temper with me on the phone every time I called. (Daily because he wouldnt return calls). He threatened to keep my money, said he doesn't "have" to give me anything back, even though he did NOTHING to help me. Said he didn't "have" to talk to me on a fri night, even though it was his business and he didnt do what he was supposed to do through the day.Claims he has no computer at home (?) and couldnt check paypal after office hours. (I use paypal everyday and I never had that problem). He yelled at me on the phone, threatened to keep my money, and called me names. Finally said hed refund (Didnt happen),and it took several phone calls to finally get an "instant transfer" via pay pal. Blamed it all on pay pal. Never took responsibility for anything. Said I was a liar, and that he always called me back, and always answered emails. NOT! Blamed the unavailability of trucks for leaving me with no car and no money for more than a month. The funny thing is, I called a "real" trucking company on weds, picked up on Sunday, and delivered ahead of schedule on weds am. Obviously, they had NOTHING to do with Webster, as they were able to do the job the right way, immediately, and kept me up to date every day and every step. Oh, did I mention that webster jacked the price up (twice) while i was waiting? wayne blamed that too on high gas prices, but if he did his job right the first time back on april 24th, we wouldnt have been dealing with gas going up everyday. The other company didnt seem to have that problem. I thought webster services was in the business of moving cars. Why was this one so difficult? They always seemed as though they didnt know what was going on. Watch out for Webster... they underbid everyone else, take your money, hold you hostage for weeks at a time, and as far as all his "satisfied customers" saying he was polite and helpful, I found him far from that. He was rude, uncooperative, irresponsible, and undependable. He doesnt return phone calls or emails, and wont tell you anything about whats going on. Although I called him EVERY SINGLE DAY, he never seemed to know who I was or where my file was. He said he wasnt making anything on me when the price suddenly jumped a hundred dollars, but my sources show he was indeed making money; he just passed his "expenses" on to me, after his bid on the job, and lied about it. I hate being lied to, and this guy lied every time I talked to him. All those stories you read about car transport brokers "jacking you around"... weeks of broken promises and no cars... thats what webster is about, at least in MY experience. I wouldnt call this guy again if He was paying ME for the job. None of the prior feedback posted here was representative of my experience with this guy, so dont be fooled. Do your homework. and Stay Clear of webster.
want someone good? email me and I'll give you the name of the guy who cleaned up websters crappy inefficiency and incompetence and finally got my car moved, just a couple of days after i called them. Your car is your business, and who you use is your choice. But I'm happy to share my experiences with others, both good and bad. Webster isn't "bad"; theyre pathetic! And even THAT's probably giving them too much credit. Full of excuses, raised the price twice, argued over a refund when he wasnt able to do the job, just poor business practices all around. Rude, unprofessional, and unethical. I'll WALK across the country before I'd ever depend on this guy to do anything more than mail a letter. Do yourself a huge favor... keep looking. Skip webster.

I guess this shows that we can not make everyone happy. This person is the most unreasonable person I have ever dealt with! I have emailed him 3 times and tried to call once since this and he will not respond. Just like when we had the vehicle listed. I do all that I can to make people happy. here is what happened. When he booking this he told me that he wanted the lowest price possable and that he was in no hurry to get the car moved. I told him that was his choice and we would work with him any way he wanted. I tried very hard to work with him. We did not even get the delivery address for nearly two weeks after booking! I do not know where he is coming from on some of what he said. Other than him screaming at me on the phone and calling 13 times in two hours! I decided it would be best to cancel and refund deposit. I do not want anyone upset with us. I told him I would send refund in a conversation late in the evening on Thursday and the next evening he was yelling again. I checked and the paypal payment was sent, he had not accepted it. I do try to make all happy. Sometimes it just does not work out. Thank you Pete and Gob Bless.
