Terrible Company and Even Worse Customer Service

I needed 2 cars shipped from NY to CA. I booked with Webster because they offered me a reasonable price. But they never came through. I tried to schedule a pick up for my cars on May 30th or 31st. Amanda told me that couldn't be guaranteed and they would need up to 10 business days to book a carrier. Fine. I made my first available pick-up date May 28th then. I needed my cars as fast as possible, and made it known to Amanda that AT THE LATEST I would need them by the week of June 17th. She said she would mark it on the order and to allow for 7-10 days for delivery. If the cars would have been picked up on the 10th business day, they would have been delivered in the correct time frame. Well, time passed and I emailed and called several times to get an update. All I ever got was "we're working on it." (Actually, they also asked me to pay $150 more, so not only was it taking longer, I would have ended up paying more.) The 10 business days came and went so I had to find another option. I booked with someone else and sent an email on the 11th business day canceling my order and requesting a refund. Then on the 13th business day I get a phone call from Wayne saying he is trying to schedule a pick-up for my cars. (What??? He was so quick to respond to every other email I sent with some excuse but apparently the cancellation email must have gone to his spam folder...) So after several more correspondences he was still not willing to issue a refund for my deposit or see at all how his company was in the wrong. In fact, he was trying to place the blame on me because I had asked for the cars to be delivered the week of the 17th. NO I DIDN'T! I asked for the cars to be delivered ASAP, in accordance with the contract! So after several more correspondences, he had settled on issuing me a partial refund even though on the website it clearly states that if your car is not booked by the 10th business day, you will be issued a full refund. The matter is being handled with my bank, but PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. I know the price may seem right, but just spend a few extra bucks and go with a more reliable company that can offer you honesty, integrity and peace of mind. This customer did not want cars until next week. We can not pick up and hold cars for a couple weeks. That would cost the customer a lot on storage. We did schedule with a truck for pickup and delivery during the week of the 17th as requested. We did have a truck call us and ask for more and we left the customer a message. When the customer did not call us back we declined that truck. 2 days later we scheduled the vehicles for pickup as agreed. The customer informed us that he was canceling the order. He states in the first part of his complaint that "I would need them by the week of June 17th" then stated 3 sentences later he did not. We do try to take care of a customer as best we can. Some customers just will not be satisfied no matter whet we do. We offered 50% refund since the vehicles were dispatched to a truck. After not returning any calls he sent and email just to cancel the truck. Thank you for understanding and please call us if there are questions at 888-333-6343. Wayne
