I had a very good experience with Wareham Auto Transport in August of 2010. In the past I've used private companies who exclusively use their own enclosed trailers to transport high dollar vehicles. Recently I found myself needing to move a non-running car of mine from Indiana to my home in California. While the car meant a lot of me, I was also looking to save some money by going with an open trailer. I spoke to seven or eight transport companies and couldn't help but feel like I was buying used car at a shady car lot.
Thankfully, that was NOT the case with Tony Frick at Wareham Auto Transport. Tony wanted to earn my business and did so without pressuring me to use his service, he was simply friendly and informative. This was a breath of fresh air in comparison to others I had called or had received calls from. I was a little nervous about using a newer company, but Tony's experience and reputation in the field seemed more than adequate.
Because my car did not run, Tony had to contact trucks / drivers that were both willing and able to haul my vehicle. It took Tony about 48 hours to find a truck and driver for the job. The price did increase $50 from my original quote, but given the overall price, service and time of delivery, I was still very happy. It appeared the price increase came from the driver, not Wareham, and I was notified of the increase prior to my car being picked up.
I called Tony twice during the process of transporting my car, and both times received a call back with in 15 minutes, which I highly appreciated. Tony was always helpful, personable, and reassuring.
My car arrived safely and early after only three full days, which was very impressive. If you're looking for a Transport Company I can recommend Wareham Auto Transport based on my experience with them.
