I was at the end of my rope and on my third trucking company, trying to get it out of Miami. AAA Transporters screwed me over by continuously delaying my assignment to a driver and finally told me that they under quoted me and could only move it with a much higher price. They never actually gave me a price and only placed me at the 'bottom of the pick-up list'. Their customer service was deceptively nice, but there was no delivery of equally satisfying service.

Tony of Viking Transport estimated a pick-up date of Monday or Tuesday. On Monday I contacted him and there was no assignment of my car to a driver. I spent the better part of Tuesday telling him that I was ready to go with another company who said that they had a car for me. He pointed out that if that company did not have me assigned to a driver, that they were lying to me, since apparently most dispatch companies operate with the same network of drivers. He told me he would find me a driver for $100 additional. My car was booked that day and the delivery of the car (Estimated to be 5 days) took 1.5 days. The driver was professional and accommodating. He gave me plenty of notice. I also placed a lot of personal belongings in the car and he didn't charge me extra for the weight.

What I appreciated about Viking is that they were no bullshit. If you're moving your car, and after my nightmare three weeks trying to get mine picked up, my advice is: Stay on the companies until you have been assigned to a driver. Call them every day if you have to and do not let them put you off for days at a time. Tony was up front and honest and it helped me immensely.
