It took 8 days just to get the pickup scheduled after telling me it would be 3-5 days.
Quoted me a price of $140 down plus $450 c.o.d for transport and we signed a contract for these amounts. On the day before pickup the trucking company (independant operator) calls to confirm pickup and states $550 due upon delivery. I contact Viking and am told they posted the pickup on the internet for $450 instead of $550 which was a mistake on their part but would not honor the $450 contract price. Basically held hostage on the day before pickup. Have heard that this practice is not uncommon among the transport brokers.

Independant trucker was Becker Trucking and they were fine and on time.

Sir your issue is Becker Trucking Company not with Viking Auto Transport, as you mention in this review we posted it for $450. If Becker Transport was asking you for another $100 you should had called us and we would have rectify the mistake with Becker, since they accepted the job for $450. For the additional $100 that you had to pay and no fault to Viking Auto Transport, we will credit back to you $100 for the inconvenience, and this is not a common practice……Tony D.
