I'm private owner (not dealer) and Viking was second auto transport experience. I am now 1-for-1 after an extremely bad experience with Viking that cost my hundreds - if not thousands - of my own money.

Tony from Viking was first to call following submit of my contact into "quote request site" (I have since receiving endless stream of quotes and status checks from almost 30 different brokers).

I have long email trail with Viking about my specific needs. Every time I contacted them, I always added my specific need copy/paste. very clearly detailed my basic needs - "pickup on date XYZ".

Pickup for for specific city on specific date. I did not have address - as I was buying car out of state.

I had plane tix for return - and I was clear on this point as well.

Viking insistent I sign agreement while on road - with no real way to print, sign, and return - but made it happen from side of road/kinkos. sent them scanned, signed document, with my specific terms (repeated again).

On day expected to have transport, I called them - they had no idea what I was talking about and told me "we only guarantee three day windows".

Ultimately, I think Viking was very DISHONEST with me. IN addition, they obviously were more concerned with me signing agreement vs ACTUALLY LISTENING TO MY NEEDS.

Of course, they were unable to meet my requirements - told me my scheduling issues were my problem - and that I had to forfeit my $100. Ultimately, I would ask they actually listened to my original requirements - provided at least 8-10 verbally and in email (have proof).

At no point during email or phone conversations did anyone say "a specific day will be hard to do for our lowball price on the national transport bid-board centraldispatch.com.

Throughout entire bad experience with Viking, I did encounter a GREAT individual who really made great attempt to resolve my pain at last moment. would strongly recommend spending the extra $100 for more honest/reputable business folks... call ANDY @ following - and read:

It’s amazing how on this site customers such as your self are allowed to post such frivolous and misleading reviews. You contracted with Viking Auto Transport to move your vehicle from Minnesota to Colorado, your estimated pick up day was for 08/04-08/05. It’s clearly stated that Viking requires a three day window for pick up, this was clearly explained to you at the time that you set up your transport with Viking. On 08/04 you were contacted by Viking and we also e-mailed to you the drivers contact information providing their phone number and pick up dates and delivery dates. Viking Auto transport had assigned Parkway Auto Transport to pick up your vehicle on 08/06 which you had full knowledge. When the driver called you on 08/05 to set up the time for the pick up. You told the driver that since we were not picking up the vehicle on 08/05, “Do not come to pick up the vehicle”, you sir took the initiative of canceling your own truck. Viking Auto Transport did not breach their contract and they did not “LOW BALL YOUR QUOTE”, we had Parkway Auto Transport ready and willing to pick up your vehicle on a timely manner. And we have full documentation of the fact that this all was in place. So sir you really left out a lot of very important information in you review….. Richard H.
