Company refuses to refund money for services not rendered

I placed an request online April 7, 2012 for Viking Auto to transport my car from Baltimore, MD to Fort Hood, TX for April 9, 2012. Tony, through e-mail correspondence, gave me a qoute of $560, with a $110 deposit so they can dispatch a truck for me. Tony also told me to allow a 2-3 day grace period. After the grace period came and went (April 12, 2012), with no word from Viking Auto, I e-mailed the company desiring to cancel my transport request. On April 13, 2012, I received a response back stating that I should receive my refund in 3 to 5 buisness days. After numerous phone calls and e-mail correspondences to Viking Auto, I still have yet to receive my refund. All inquiries have been met with the same generic response: "Customers deposit is scheduled for a full refund." I have even submitted this problem through the Better Business Bureau to no avail, still getting the same "Customers deposit is scheduled for a full refund" response. I e-mailed Viking Auto again on May 4, 2012, stating that if I didn't receive a definitive answer as to when I would receive my refund, that I would pursue legal action through the Small Claims Court. I haven't heard a response back from them. DO NOT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MILITARY, request transport through this company. Research more highly rated transport company through the Better Business Bureau.

Mr JohnsonWe don’t keep anyones deposit Period!! Your deposit has been refunded in full. So please don’t go on this site and slander us. We tried very hard to move you car. But you decided to choose the lowest price even though we explained to you that it might take longer than usual to move your car. We have close to 300 reviews on this site, and more than 85% are positive reviews. You are the only one that’s has not been forthright with this review. You sir are making this thing all up for your satisfaction since its seems you get a kick out of it. Again I emphasize that we move successfully between 200 to 300 cars every month. You don’t have the write to go on this site and post bunch of lies. Again I strongly emphasize that your deposit has been refunded in full. We would not jeopardize our good standing with our merchant bank for your deposit or anyone else’s deposit. I truly feel sorry for you that you can’t be forthright.
