Very Low Cost, Slow, No Communication

First I must address the auto shipping industry in general: You should be absolutely ashamed! The prices are outrageous, the service is horrible, the organization of the industry does not promote competition or efficiency at all. Even if you make $100/hr you should fly and drive the vehicle yourself if possible. Now for Viking there are several things to be aware of. First they are very cheap and will try to bid super low to get you a deal. Which to me is good. However that may or may not happen and they will not tell you what is going on. You may have to tell them to increase the bid. Once you get the transport you will have to micromanage it yourself. If the transport gets canceled Viking will not tell you; you have to stay on top of the process yourself. If you choose Viking you will also need to have thick skin because Tony can be a bit rough in his approach. I was told 5 to 7 days but it took 24 days total and cost me a lot of trouble and money. If you like cheap like me then use them, but be warned you must super micromanage the process. Call the transport over and over, verify the pickup down to the loading on the truck. This broker just puts in the order, that is it, the rest is up to you.
