My family was moving from California to Texas in June 2007. After reviewing several moving companies, I decided to go with VIP because of their low quote. Origianally, the representative was friendly. I was given a pickup and delivery date and was asked to give a $ 200 deposit. My pick up date was supposed to be June 24th. I had called several days before the pickup and was guaranteed that I would receive a call and my Expedition would be picked up. The truck was never picked up and I had to call the company many times to figure out what the problem was. I spoke with a rude gentleman named Jerry and his supervisor. The supervisor stated that I should excuse Jerry's behavior because he was old. That should not be an excuse when dealing with paying customer. However, 4 days later, a representative from Blue Line Transportation came to pick up my Expedition. I did speak with the supervisor at VIP that morning to inform him that we had 2-3 items in the back seat trunk area. He told me not to worry about it and most carriers would not say anything or I could give him a couple of dollars for him to overlook the items. I was already paying enough money for the transport, and I refuse to go the briibery route. Also the contract #6 states that personal belongings must be placed in the trunk area, and not to exceed 100 pounds. If the weight is in excess of 100 pounds, the driver may charge additional fees. Meanwhile, on the day of the pickup, the gentleman would not take the truck because there were 2-3 items in my back seat trunk area. I did speak with a supervisor after the incident to ask for a refund, and they refuse to give me any of my money back. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM AND THEY HAVE VERY LITTLE PROFESSIONALISM. I'm still trying to get my money back.

These customers are ridiculous, we are allowing them to place approximately 100 pounds of personal belongings in the trunk of the car as a courtesy, evidentally the customer packed the entire car with his personal belongings [totally against the instructions]. The transporter has the option to take the car or charge additional for the excess weight. According to the Department of Transportation, we are movers of vehicles only, not personal belongings, we allow the customer the 100 pounds, not hundreds of pounds in order to save the money for shipping by UPS, etc. We ahve sent Blue Line to ship the truck not his personal belongings, he did not give the truck to Blue Line, but we have to pay them for going.
