Terrible service

This was our first transport experience. We hired universal transport services on 8/09/13 to transport our non-running Dodge Durango from TN to IL which broke down while we were on vacation. We were told it would be delivered mid week of the first week. We were excited to have been given a price of $550 and were told by Randy that if anyone quoted us less it was bogus and they would just be asking for more money later... So we waited and come the end of the first week we had still not heard anything from universal. After calling them we were told they were having trouble finding a carrier. By the next week we were starting to get frustrated and made several calls to Universal only to be treated rudely, constantly put on hold, and then transferred to voicemail. Then they told us they needed MORE money... Funny since they are the ones that told us other companies would do that. They blew us off and refused to return our phone calls. The contract stated that they had 10 business days to deliver our vehicle. After waiting the 10 days we called to cancel our order. Again being put on hold and run around in circles. They said they would email us a cancellation request. It never came... Again we called them only to be treated rudely. The lady said she sent the request but I had not received it. She argued with me and said she had 3 other calls on hold... Now it says in the email that I might not get a full refund???? Are you kidding me? I just had to rent a uhaul truck, borrow a trailer and spend tons of $ going to pick up my truck myself. This was a horrible experience! Do not use this company unless you enjoy being treated terribly, blown off, robbed and your job never completed!!!
