Initially, I was very nervous about transporting my new car. It was my first new car and I've never transported a car before. I searched alot of sites and came across United Road on multiple sites and then looked them up on BBB.org. They had an A+ rating, so I went with them hoping it would all be ok. It did turn out to be ok! A driver was supposed to pick up my car within 2 days of agreeing to do business with United Road, but after some kind of mechanical delay, United took that driver off the job and assigned me with Ground Force One. They gave great updates as to what was going on with expected pickup and delivery and everything in between. I'm glad they pulled the first driver at the first sign of an issue and IMMEDIATELY worked on finding another one. I even had trouble with United Road's website, and I got a call on Memorial Day to try to find the problem and resolve the issue I was having. Do you know how many people were working anywhere at all on Memorial Day??? Not many, but these guys are on the job!
If United Road can't do it themselves they contract with other companies. They must have a great screening process for everyone, because everything went smooth AND my car was delivered early! I got great updates directly from the driver of the transport and he delivered it early on a Saturday afternoon. Alex was timely and detailed with his updates, and was careful and still quick. Since my car was on the upper deck, he made sure there weren't any trees, had enough space to maneuver the truck and the cars, and explained this all to me up front and reiterated it as he did it. He even explained that he put my new car on top because the other used cars he was transporting had a chance of leaking oil, and, if they did drip, he didn't want any to get on my car. Some may vew this as a thankless job that can be routine, but for me and precious cargo on it that I've been working and saving for (my first new car), I see that guy as a miracle worker for NOT cutting corners, getting it here quickly and safely, and being professional and courteous in the process.
So, for anyone reading this, I really hope my reivew helps you. It's not often that I actually take the time to do this, but it was important of to me and I was so impressed that I actually took the time to sit down and type up this review.
