I contacted Elizabeth V. for shipping my car from CA to IL and told Elizabeth the time window I can release my car is Dec 21 evening, Dec 22 and Dec 23 and asked her if UFA can guarantee my car to be picked up from CA in this time window because I will left CA on Dec 24. I told Elizabeth that if UFA cannot guarantee this I cannot use UFA's service and I have to look for other company. Elizabeth promised me UFA can guarantee this and let me signed the contract. The next day after I faxed the signed contact to UFA, UFA charged my credit card for $295 although she told me before my credit card will be charged for $200 after UFA found a carrier for my car shipping. Elizabeth then sent me amodified shipped order form and changed my car release date to Dec 16. When I called her to ask why, she said she can only find carrierfor the week of Dec 16 or I have to change my time window to from Dec 21 to Dec 27. She told me unless I paid extra$300 to expedite. I told her I cannot do that and if UFA want to bleach the contract, I don't want to use UFA's service. Then another sales rep from UFA threatened me that if I don't want to use their service, they will not return the $295 and also charge me cancellation fee and use collection agency.

Later, when I checked BBB site, I found UFA has already got 15 complaints filed against business for doing business dishonestly. UFA is NOT a BBB Accredited Business. Should I checked this before, I will be afraid to do business with UFA. It seems to me that UFA has been using this kind of tricks to cheat on customers. Once you signed their contract, then they start to change their contract term and ask for extra money to expedite. I would warn you to be careful on using UFA's service.
