THE WORST BUSINESS EVER !!

I have been in the auto industry for over 28 years; we ship more than 40% of our sold vehicles to other states. The vehicles are purchased site unseen. We take great pride in our business and reputation. However we sold a vehicle going to Missouri from Phoenix and posted a listing for delivery of this vehicle. We get a call from Doug at United Auto Logistics telling us about his wonderful company, how they are different from everyone else. His quote was 200-300 higher then most other transportation companies, but he said those are brokers and they would most likely raise the price and not show up to get the vehicle. I had asked if he was a broker and he said NO, they are the delivery company not a broker, that is why we can have this vehicle picked up today between 3 & 4 pm. Everything sounded great, so I asked if I can call my customer who has been waiting for the delivery of his new vehicle, his reply was YES of coarse. I asked when will the vehicle arrive to the customer, Doug had replied 3 days, I then again confirmed, you will have the vehicle picked up today between 3 and 4 pm and it will be delivered to the customer in 3 days, Doug replied YES. I said great, send me the contract. I received the contract and signed it. The day of pick up, no one showed up, we waited until 7:30 that evening. We tried calling United Auto and NO ANSWER. So I wrote them an email expressing my concerns and I got no reply. I called back the next morning and asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. I explained my situation and concerns explaining that no one showed up to get the vehicle, nor a phone call. He expressed to me that a truck had broke down and that no one was in the office to call. I explained that I have been doing this for over 30 years and I have never had a truck break down without being contacted for any update. He expressed his side and said the driver will be at our place for pick up later that afternoon. AGAIN: no one showed up, there was no update, NO phone call. I called them the next morning and spoke to MATT the manager. I told Matt that I found out my vehicle had been listed with Central Dispatch, a company that post vehicles for shipping. I asked him if he is a broker or if he is in fact the trucking company that we had been previously told. He told me he was both. I think this is a piss poor company that falsifies who they are and what they can really do. Not once did they apologize nor try to make it right. I would never recommend this so called “company” to anyone. The worst experience I have ever had.
