The pick-up was supposed to be Friday morning, driver in area. By Friday evening not only was the car not picked up but the brokers were not answering my calls or calling back. Sunday evening they had the excuse that other brokers had claims on the transport and I needed to cancel them before they would be able to pick it up. I called the other brokers, who had no claim, and asked them not to pursue it. Tuesday morning united auto transport informed me they were raising the price 62% and that prices are subject to change without notice even though we had an contract. I had them cancel the contract and am now trying a new broker.

We pride ourselves on providing fair prices and would never recommend a carrier who raises prices. Therefore, you were never charged a fee and we would never charge the deposit unless vehicle is picked up. Whether an error was made on our part or some miscommunication, I'm not sure.
