Never Showed... Didn't call, don't care about their clients.

My brother passed away unexpectedly on 9/4. After receiving several quotes through auto-trasnportquotes.com I contacted United Auto Carriers on Wednesday, 9/8 and talked with Damien. I explained that I had three days to fly from Texas to Long Beach, California, clear my brother's property including having his vehicle shipped from Long Beach to Texas, and fly back. I clearly stated that I would be available all day Friday and Saturday while moving property to meet with the transport driver to coordinated the pickup. He told me Friday was possible but Saturday would not be a problem.
Friday afternoon I had not heard from Damien nor anyone else at United Auto Carriers so I contacted them. Pete answered the phone when I called the Customer Service queue and he told me that Damien had taken the call and would follow up with an email. I never received the email nor a phone call. I tried calling all day Saturday and NO ONE answered the phone. I left messages with the Customer Service queue and the Sales queue and did not receive a return call. I emailed Pete at the email provided and NEVER received a reply. I called three times today and finally got hold of Pete who put me on hold for 10 minutes waiting for Damien who never answered. I finally hung up and called in as a new customer on the Sales line and Damien answered. He told me he didn't know about my contact attempts over the weekend and advised me that the carrier they had scheduled didn't have enough hauls coming from the West Coast to make a run but would be by Tuesday or Wednesday. I told him that I was upset that no one ahd contacted me to advise me nor was anyone taking my calls or emails. His exact words were "Well, I have been here since Friday so I don't know what to tell you." Their hours state Saturday 10:30a-4:00p but no one answers the phone. Their word is no good, they were very quick at taking my credit card information and not sysmpathetic to my circumstances or schedule. Find someone else if you want to be able to trust what they tell you.
