Yup, that's what happened to my "Booking Costs", it up and vanished like a fart in the wind! I called Ultimate Logistics and quized them about transporting my 1948 Chevy. They assured me for a $200 "booking Cost" they could transport my car in about 10 days. Afte 30 days of decreasing communication from them I was religated to a office girl who informed me that my car was three times the weight of a normal car and three times as big. She told me to call the railroad and book through them My car was 3200# and 16 ft long. This is a standard full size car.
I asked for a return of funds but got no return calls or emails, So folks, the moral of the story is that reputable companies take no up front money and do ship in 10 days. I hired Passport Company, who did just that in a very efficent manner. I think Ultimate Logistics is an internet scam booking company with very questionable ethics. So, you will find this review here and at the Florida Better Business Bureau.
