I had set up a contract with True Carriers on 10/09 to have my car picked up on 10/17 in Florence Oregon. I reside in Missouri, so had flown to Oregon to arrange pick up. The quote was $950 and in that Quote I listed my time I had to fly back and that the battery was dead. A contract was signed. I went back and forth for several days to get confirmation and was told car would be picked up by first available carrier and I would get 24 hours notice. I was called on 10/19 and it was confirmed a hauler would be picking up my car on 10/20 and I would be getting at least an hours notice. During this call, I was also made aware that since my battery was dead that I had to use a different carrier with a wench and my cost would be increased to $1150. On 10:20 I text and called my representative 4+ times asking where the driver was and a driver never showed. Alex the representative knew I had to fly out on 10/21. He then assured me that the car would be arriving and gave me the timeframe. The car never arrived. I e-mailed, text, and called with no response. As a result I had to change my flight and extend my hotel stay. On 10/21 I kept calling Alex and have all emails and he said carrier would be on its way. This time I get the carrier name and call them directly and they say they may come 7-8 PM which I have to again fly out the next day. They do arrive and pick up car and have jumpers so the wench was not even required (could have kept with $950 quote) If you want a company that will not answer your cars, be unavailable, and make promises it cannot keep, this is the company for you! They also updated the "requested date" in the 2nd contract so they could fall within the 5 day guarantee.
