I used Truckittransport to move my internet purchased car from Clearwater FLA to Biloxi, MS. About a 9 hour drive. I was quoted a price that was comparable to having me fly to the vehicle and drive it home. All was fine (the vehicle was picked up within the 9 days as stated on the contract) until the transport truck broke soon after picking up my vehicle. Ultimately, this break down caused a one week delay in receiving my vehicle. One issue I had was asking Truckittransport where my vehicle was located during the breakdown. As a law enforcement officer, I am very aware of vehicle theft and my car is a unique sports car. Truckit could not provide a timely/reasonable explanation on the exact location/condition of my car for about 24 hours. This was the only reason for the less than excellent rating for customer service. Otherwise, excellent customer service. I believed I might have to initiate a vehicle theft investigation. But, eventually, the carrier provided photos of my car which eased my mind.

In general, Truckittransport completed delivery of the vehicle and the personnel were professional and responded to my inquiries in a timely manner. Trucks break down, it was just my luck I guess. To be noted, the carrier dropped his fee from 450.00 to 300.00. So, I saved a few bucks as a result of the delay.

I would use Truckittransport again if I was not in a hurry to have my car. They, as any other company, might experience delays such as a truck breakdown as happened in my case. If I was not in a hurry, no problem with Truckit. They were a bit late due to breakdown, but ultimately fulfilled the contract.
