Stay away from this company. I signed an agreement with them on March 28 to ship my vehicle on May 1 with a salesman, Chris. I was quoted at $900. Having heard nothing from Trident as the date approached, I called them on April 26, a Thursday. I spoke with a man named James, who said that I would be receiving a call on April 28 or 29, Saturday or Sunday, by the carrier to coordinate the pick-up. After not hearing from anyone, I called Chris on my pick-up day, May 1, multiple times. All of my calls went to voicemail. I tried calling the phone number advertised on the company website. It said this number is no longer in service. I finally emailed John, the dispatcher, and asked him what was going on. He informed me that Chris, the original salesman, no longer worked there, and that he would call me within an hour with an update on a carrier. He never called, and I had to email him again the next day to ask for an update. He informed me that he was having trouble finding a carrier. To his credit, he released my $200 deposit because Trident didn't follow through on their service. After speaking with another broker, they informed me they could see my quote from Trident on the dispatch page to the carriers, and that Trident had my offer listed at $1100, even though they had quoted me at $900! I ended up canceling the order with Trident, as they never presented a real solution; they just asked for more time... In summary, stay away from this company if you want a hassle-free shipping experience.
