DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE IN BUSINESS TO STEAL. This carrier was contacted on Jan. 17th and after happily taking a $175.00 deposit told the contractee the car would be picked up Thursday Jan. 20th. The car was not picked up, nor on the 21st, so I, being the person waiting for the car on the other end, initiated a call to the company after getting a copy of the agreement by e-mail. The man who answered the phone whose name I do not know but has a heavy Brooklyn accent almost immediately upon my inquiry as to the delay started into the "weather" story, (it had been clear and sunny across the country for three days) and would not answer me as to when I could expect the car to be picked up. He also said because the car had been "assigned" there would be no refund of the deposit if we wished to cancel.

I cannot take the time to shoot all the holes that are in this line of bologna, which are MANY, (did they not know it's winter? Did all trucking commerce halt because of a little snow in D.C.?)), but I WILL say this and READ THIS CAREFULLY: these people take deposits with virtually NO contractual obligation to pick up the car or deliver it in ANY specified period. THEY COULD TAKE MONTHS AND THEIR CONTRACT ALLOWS IT. Additionally, they will not be responsible for anything that happens to the car in transport. This "gentleman" immediately threw the contract in my face when it became obvious I was displeased: a sure sign that this is something they deal with ALL THE TIME. The young man who contracted with this company was naive in not reading the contract or did not understand the implications of it when he signed it.I have dealt extensively in contractual agreements and after reading their "contract" wouldn't trust them to transport my garbage. AGAIN: DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE IN BUSINESS TO STEAL.
