RECENT TRANSPORT DONE for me! ~ I had a recently restored old 1960 car that needed to come cross-country from an e-bay purchase in California and I was concerned about the car, AND safe delivery in the middle of a nasty rough winter! ~ I looked at MANY carriers, some of which were recommended on e-bay, but had bad reports if you looked AND they wanted payment in advance with a credit card. - I wanted my car transported DIRECT without un-loading it several times along this long journey of some 3,250 miles (or more) and I certainly didn't want it to be sitting in some outdoor storage parking lot for even a day, if I could avoid it. - I have read that this sometimes happens with other carriers for week's at times! - I spoke with ALLEN at TRANSPORT SERVICES and I told him all of my particulars . . and I told him that the car had been paid for month's ago and now they really wanted it moved (the seller had been charging me a small monthly fee for indoor storage). - Well the time finally came . . middle of Winter or not, I have to get that car transported. - So the research began (again). - I read reports on MANY companies . . some good . . even so, I was still skeptical and cautious as to who I would choose. - Allen of TRANSPORT SERVICES got right on it! - He was not playing with me when he said that he had a driver in that area of California now-today (Jan. 28th., 2009) and that they would pick-up the car within 3 days . . YES - it actually turned out to be 2 days after Transport Services received my small deposit, with the balance due on delivery of the car to me here in S.E. Connecticut, by Bank Check. - Even the seller was surprised (a registered California car delaer), other transport people were surprised that the car was picked-up so quickly . . I am surprised and we are all pleasantly surprised! - The car arrived here pretty much on-time. - Danny the driver stayed in contact with me by telephone along the way no less than twice he telephoned me. - I gave Danny the driver a $50.00 cash tip as I could see that he appreciated the car and it's well being about as much as I did. - Danny's Wife also assisted with the move and she even helped with the unloading as she applied the brakes as the car rolled off of the full length transport trailer! - A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND. - AND . . now I have a 25% discount on my next car transport job with them (Transport Services - Boca Raton). - My car arrived here on an open carrier as I had agreed/hired for, so I expcted some road grime on it and that was O.K. - Road grime even for this miserable time of the year was less than it could have been. - NO DENTS - NO DINGS - NO SCRATCHES and NO DAMAGE that I can see, anywhere! - Just a GOOD ALL-AROUND TRANSPORT OF THE CAR AND . . AT THE SAME OR BETTER RATES THAN OTHERS, PROMPTLY, less than 9 days! - Insured too . . but I did make sure that I had my own physical insurance damage coverage on the car, just in-case. - ALL I CAN ATTEST TO IS THE ABOVE. It is factual to my-own recent experience with them. - I do hope that if you hire them that you too will have a problem free and trouble free experience with Transport Services of Boca Raton Florida. - Good luck. - I am . .
