I had a miserable experience with Transport Services. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Transport Services to ANYONE. Please read this entry to get all of the facts. I am interested to see if Transport Services can offer an accurate rebuttal to these comments. I kept detailed records of the entire transaction.

My experience with Transport Services started on a very good note. Jarrett, the sales person, was very helpful and even spoke with me from home due to time differences between our locations. The price was not the lowest but competitive. The final booking was completed on July 16th.

Once the transport was booked, things began to change. I gave a large availability window for pickup in order to achieve a delivery date on or before Aug 7th. The first availability date of July 30th came and went with no calls from Transport Services to arrange pick up. When I called to inquire as to why no one had contacted me to set up a pick up date, I was told that the vehicle was going to be picked up the next day (July 31st). When they did not show up this time, I called once again and was told there were problems with the truck and the pick up date would have to slide until the following Monday, August 4th (5 days later). That would put the delivery date much later than I desired. They offered me a Saturday pick up (August 2nd) for an additional $100. I reluctantly agreed.

The car was picked up on Saturday August 2nd. I was assured by Transport Services and the owner of the trucking company (please see review on Hunksy Trucking for that story) that it would only take a week for delivery (August 9th). During transport, I called Transport Services 5 different times to find out the status of the vehicle after I could not reach the driver on his cell phone. They would try and call the driver with me on hold and could not reach him either. I received the vehicle 13 days after pick up (August 15th) at 930pm in a WalMart parking lot. I only had 1 phone call actually returned out 5 messages left over the 2 week period of the transport.

After the transport, I negotiated with Jeremy to have $100 of my booking fee refunded to reimburse me for the extra cost of transport for the Saturday pick up. I called the week after the vehicle was delivered (week of August 18th) to tell them the vehicle was delivered and I arrange for the $100 refund. Jeremy told me on August 22nd that he would process the refund that day. I called again 2 weeks later on September 5th because the refund was not yet received. I was told that Jeremy was unavailable, he would call me back, and he would process the refund that day. I called again on September 9th because the money was not received, yet again, on my credit card. After being placed on hold AGAIN, Lauren told me Jeremy was unavailable and she would process the refund the same day and e-mail me a receipt. I received a receipt for ONLY a $50 refund. I called again on September 9th and was told that we only agreed to a $50 refund. When I asked to speak to Jeremy, he was again unavailable. I called again on September 10th. The payment was finally received on September 11th along with a receipt that was e-mailed to me.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Transport Services to ANYONE. I am a patient person and was never rude to anyone on the phone. I was inconvenienced with spending days at home waiting for pick up of the car and the lack of a vehicle for over a week past the date I requested the car with a large pickup window offered. After being promised a refund of the extra $100 I paid for the Saturday pick up, it took over 2 ½ weeks to get. I still paid the original transport quote. In addition, I spent well over an hour total on “hold” trying to talk to someone that could help me through the whole process. It was obvious that my vehicle was not important once Transport Services had my booking fee in their bank account.
