I submitted my transport request online and Corey called me with a quote within 30 minutes. The quote wasn't the cheapest I had seen but it was reasonable. I made a deposit and Corey arranged everything and sent me a confirmation email and a contract for electronic signature.

Shortly thereafter, a man from Ship Your Car Now (also a Boca Raton company) called me to quote the job. I told him that I had already employeed a shipper and he asked if I minded telling him the name of the company. When I did, he proceeded to defame Transport Services and told me I would be lucky if I ever got my truck. This irritated me that he was basically telling me I was so stupid to make such a mistake of hiring this obviously corrupt company. He wanted to know what they quoted me, how much I paid them up front, what timeline they promissed... I began to push back as I didn't think it was any of his business. He explained that he was just trying to make sure I wasn't taken advantage of and that he didn't want my business but he was concerned that I wouldn't have a good experience. He later sent me a quote in my email for $185 higher than Transport Services was quoting.

The phone call concerned me. I looked at the ratings on this site and I saw quite a few negative reports but I also saw that T.S. had a four star rating. I called Corey to explain my fears. He assured me that everything would be done as our agreement stated and he promptly put his supervisor on the phone to help address my concerns. The supervisor kindly explained the things that he could not control; weather; traffic; equipment failure, and then explained the things he could control; schedules; fees; etc. I was mildly reassured but still needed someone to hold my hand. I had searched and negotiated for a month to find my truck and I certainly didn't want to lose my money on some bogus shipping company!

Corey kept in touch with me over the next few days. He told me at which point each part of the transaction came together. He called me when a driver had been assigned. He called me when a timeline had been arranged. He called me when the driver logged the pick up. He called me shortly after the truck was delivered in perfect condition.

All-in-all, the shipping experience was TERRIBLE! I was stressed out the whole time! But not because of Transport Services. They delivered my truck a day earlier than quoted and cost me much less than I might have paid with another company. MY bad experience was solely due to the phone calls and pestering from SHIP YOUR CAR NOW! Their business tactics are shady and caused me undue stress over what would have otherwise been a simple and easy shipment.
