I called Dave Steel at Town & Country on the 2nd or 3rd of June asking about their service. Dave assured me that they ran a very honest business and that I could have my vehicle picked up on the 15th of June and delivered by the 25th "no problem". On the 15th my wife received a call telling us that they had "no idea when they would be able to pick up the vehicle". Apparently once they have your deposit they could care less about their service. I called numerous times and left many many messages to have someone call me back to explain. Noone called back for days. Finally when I did receive a call back they were very rude and continued to tell me that they had noone to pick up my vehicle. When they finally called on the 20th they said my vehicle would not be picked up until the 23rd, which I'm leary to believe. They said that they do not guarantee delivery pick or delivery days at all. Then I had my friend call in and casually ask if they guaranteed their days of pick up and delivery, he was told yes. He said wanted to know so that he didn't get a call the day of pickup telling him that they weren't going to pick it up that day, the man replied "we don't do that". Obviously the owners do allow their salespeople to lie for business which is a bunch of crap. Oh, and they do not reimburse for the expense of a rental car even if their salespeople promise delivery dates. Anyone have any advice? Isn't it against the law to run a business this way?
