First Time Car Shipping

The time I spent with Total Car Shipping was a pleasant surprise. For a vehicle leaving Florida in the Spring and going to Alabama it should not strike the readers as a spectacular feat. Let me tell you what the week before was like.

On April 27th, a day after we won an auction on Ebay I was in touch with American Transport Auto. I spoke with Jan and she was friendly and efficient. After all the quotes I decided to give them the business as they did not want my money till after my car was loaded on the one and only truck that would be used to transport it. I had it listed with them and requested ASAP pickup. I got one call for them mid week requesting the size and weight of our van. From then on the enthusiasm for my business had changed much without me saying a word to them other than the facts they had asked for. When a full week was up with no driver in sight I called and canceled my order with them. I immediately hooked up with Total Car Shipping. Nilda verified my information and request with American Auto and seemed surprised that a full week had passed without a driver leaving Florida with our van. All paperwork was done very quickly and our information was once again on "the board" for drivers to locate vehicles for transport. I was dreading and anticipated the worst. We had an appointment to deliver the vehicle on our end. If the vehicle was not in our possession within a week it would cost us a few more hundred to get it to my sister who was visiting us from out of state and with the plan to drive it back home with her.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call 4 days later confirming a driver had been located and the vehicle would be in our care within the week timeframe we had hoped for. The vehicle arrived at the time Mr. Martin had told us it would even though he had to leave his truck a couple hundred miles away and drive our vehicle to us due to truck problems. Mr Martin was very apologetic for the change in the transport plans and the miles put on the vehicle. He also issued us a rate reduction. Mr. Martin was an upstanding individual and as well, God glorifying.

I look forward to meeting more folks like Mr. Martin as our country is faced with hard times ahead. I hope each of us citizens of America wake up from our self centered ways and adopt the attitude of the framers of our Republic. Let us each develop and live out godly characters. Let us be willing to protect our legacy and heritage that God gave us here in these precious United States. Never before has there ever been a society birthed and enjoy liberty and freedom as we have and presently do. Lord give us each the fight to continue to protect what You gave us. Thank you Mr. Martin for encouraging us with an attitude of grace.
