We spoke to Mr. Parker diligently on more than on multiple occasions. We told him our price was based on a floor and a ceiling. Floor being $400 ceiling being $450 - VERY reasonable considering the industry standards are a $100 range minimum! So we got it done and the carrier demanded $50 more....We all realize this is a tight money economy but if $50 is going to really make a difference then shippers should consider driving the vehicle instead because remember....shipping IS a luxury and $50 more for these drivers is just a 150 mile trip. We explained all the ins and outs and he was upset after we rendered services and connected him to a driver for $100- -our fee we discounted since this was a short route...He was upset we canceled the order. Question sir what did we do wrong? Where exactly did we fail you? As all of you reading this can see we are usually pretty accurate $50 difference.9 times out of 10 This was a pick up in Tulsa OK an extremely difficult route and delivery in Mexicana Texas another real treat! This was a very difficult route and we still got it done within 2 days of Peter the shipper, placing the order. The trucker wanted $50 more the customer was aware it was the trucker and not us as these folks are independent contractors and they control the supply in this industry not us. What we give the customer the shipper is our best estimate on what we feel REALISTICALLY will take to move the vehicle. Every vehicle we have shipped have been on a federally authorized carrier. We are a VERY diligent corporation. However we also realize we can not please everyone and we are not a gold coin to be liked and admired by everyone. We are however liked and admired by the majority of our shippers hence the 5 star rating we still proudly keep.
