After purchasing a vehicle on e-bay that required a move up the coast, I found a website that would provide me with 10 instant quotes. After sending in the specifics, the instant quotes came. Within 2 minutes actually, that's instant alright.
Chris Davis from Tiger Transport was one of the first to contact me by phone and e-mail. Truly a gentleman. He explained who he was, what he does, how much it would cost and what to expect. I did not make an impulsive move, waiting for all quotes and contacts to come in.
During the 4-5 days I waited to make a decision, Chris contacted me with an eagerness to be my choice, yet he was never a nuisance. A delicate balancing act that some other transporters failed miserably.
Some transporters that I considered never followed up. Some are still calling me. Chris Davis was on the money. He wasn't the cheapest. The quotes went from $395-$800. Frankly, $395 scared me and I have no interest in making people work for nothing. $800 was just greed. $500 is what I expected to pay.
I chose Chris @ Tiger Transport to move my vehicle. The vehicle was picked up on time and delivered on time for the $500 price quoted.
PERFECT! Chris kept me informed during the entire move and was completely honest. The vehicle arrived on time, undamaged, for the price quoted.
