We used the Car Transporters to ship my Honda Accord from New Jersey to California in June 2011. The overall experience was great - the car arrived early, in a perfect condition except maybe a bit dirty.

Please note that the Car Transporters is a broker and not an actual transportation company. They don't actually own any trucks or assume responsibility in where/how your car ends up. The same applies to many of the top-rated "transporters" on this website. Initially, I saw going through a middle man as a concern given the added layer of schedules/communication difficulty. Then I realized the same issues apply to actual van lines as our home moving company didn't communicate so well with their own drivers.

We ended up having quite a few complaints about the actual truck driver on this job, mostly around the communication. But Elizabeth at the Car Transporters was very responsive and did a lot to accommodate our needs. I thought the service she provided was excellent for what I know about typical brokers. If I ever need to do this again, I'd much rather go through her than having to directly deal with the truck driver.
