Terrible Customer Service

We contacted Auto Transport Group on 12-20-10 to transport a S-10 pick up truck from Pittsburgh to Arizona. Once the order was placed, $150 deposit was charged to my credit card. Pick up was scheduled for 12-27-10. The truck was not picked up and we were not contacted as to why. We contacted Auto Transport Group on 12-28-10 to inquire why the pick up did not happen. We were told that due to the weather on the east coast, trucks were having a difficult time moving. Anthony stated that he would contact us later that evening with an update. We received no call. We contacted Anthony the next day and were told that trucks would not be moving until after the new year. Called on 1-3-11 and every day after until Friday, 1-7-11 and were repeatedly told that they were working on it and would contact us. We had to prompt the calls as they did not actively work with us. Was told by Anthony on Friday, 1-7-11 that he was working over the weekend to try for a weekend pick up. If he was unable to have the vehicle picked up on the weekend, he guaranteed that it would be picked up on Monday. I tried to contact over the weekend but only got an answering machine. I contacted Anthony on Monday, 1-10-11 in the morning and stated that I was taking a different avenue with transporting the truck. He agreed and also agreed to refund the $150 deposit charged to my credit card on 12-20-10. I have had to dispute the charge with my credit card company as it has still not been removed. Auto Transport Group has terrible customer service skills and makes many excuses as to why they can't move your vehicle. Needless to say, my son received his truck using another shipping company (1st Choice Shipping) one week after we placed the order. Thank goodness for 1st Choice Shipping.

this customer booked the order just before the holidays and iam sure everyone knows the weather situation that everyone had to deal with during the 2010-2011 winter everywhere was covered in snow. we were constantly in contact with her to let her know we are trying to do everything we can on getting a driver out to her. just due to the weather the drivers were backed up and were working on getting back on track.
