I had hired Teeter transport to pick up my 1969 GTO convertible in Fresno CA, and transport it to Las Vegas for me. The sales person I dealt with was aweosme, I had her cell phone number and was able to speak with her even on her days off and after hours. On the day of pickup I was contacted by the dealership I purchased the car from that the transport company I had hired was not the same person who was actually picking up my car. I contacted Teeter to find out that they had subcontracted the delivery to another party. When I flew in to Las Vegas a few days later the transporter picked me up and brought me to my car which was just sitting in the parking lot of a recreation centre not to far from his house. He told me he had kept the car at his house and only put it in the parking lot that morning. Who know's. During the trip to my car I also found out that my car was shipped on an open trailer even though I paid the extra money to have it in an enclosed trailer. This is one of the main reasons I had chosen this transport company. After I took possesion of the car I was left to find my way back to my hotel, had I known I would have at least brought a map with me. Upon my arrival back home I contacted Teeter to inform them of this mistake, They said that the money I paid extra for enclosed transport would be refunded and apologized for the mistake. Shortly after I had the people who had done the actual transporting phone my cell phone and threaten me by saying they had stored my car for free until I picked it up and that they were going to sue me bacause Teeter was withholding full payment on the delivery. All I know is my car is safely tucked away in a garge for the winter somewhere in Canada.Jerry from Teeter called back to check if I had heard from the transporter then told me to not answer the phone if he tried to contact me again. He said it was against the contract to contact the person who had the car delivered. Again who know's. I am not sure what has happened since then since I have not heard from either party. My only advice is to ensure that the people you hire are the actual people who will be transporting your car and to make sure you get what you pay for.

Our driver that we hired told us he had enclosed equipment and that it would be going on a 2-car hauler. We were not aware of his mis-conduct until Mr. Couture informed us. We appologized to Mr. Couture and refunded the difference between enclosed and open within a few days of finding the error. We deducted this difference from the drivers pay and have put him on a list of drivers never to use again. We have left him negative feedback on the carrier rating system. We sincerely appologize for the mistake and did our best to correct the problem. Jerry Teeter, President
