bad experience

I made the deal with TLC Transporters (with Mr. BOB) a month before my requested day. I asked that my cars to be picked up on Dec 26...Mr BOB said that it's a deal done since I made the arrangement so far in advance. OK. 4 days before my pick up date, a Mrs. Lakisha (she seemed very nice, honest and understanding) called and said that they don't have a driver for my cars and that it may take up to 5-7 days to find a driver (I wish Mr BOB would have told me that from the beginning…I would have looked for a different company ). I told her that this is not the deal I made and she said that TLC Transporters can NEVER promise a specific day for pick up because the way things go there is on a DAY to DAY basis (TLC Transporters are not the direct carrier so they have to wait for a driver to contact them). So, Mr. BOB lied only to make me to sign the papers.

Well, after 12-13 days since my first available date...a driver came and picked up my cars...after 12-13 days? I even offered a raise and TLC Transporters still couldn't find a driver. So, TLC Transporters could not make the pick up on Dec 26 (as I made the deal with Mr. BOB...whom after the deal was done never answered to my phone again) but they did after 12-13 days.

My advice: find a company that is a direct carrier (not only it won't take you a deposit fee but it will be able to tell you if the job can be done on the requested days...also you get an update like: where the driver is, what is the driver's itinerary, what is the estimated day and hour )

I almost forgot: the phone number posted on the TLC Transporters website as being for customer service...no one ever answered and no voice message is available I would never recommend TLC Transporters if you want your car to be picked up on a certain day. The worse experience I have ever had. Mrs. Lakisha was the only person that answered all my phone calls even during the weekend when she was not even at work (she is a very nice person)

NOTE to TLC’s response: The route was not the problem in my case (from the moment the driver picked up my car it took him only 2 days to deliver my car). The problem was that even after 2 or 3 days after the first available pick up day the TLC did not have a driver for me (there was no driver to accept the deal). Also, I have paid the entire amount $1350 ($250 deposit to TLC and $1100 to the driver)…No money back into my account (NOT like a TLC representative posted on the web site).

I know that my case may be a special one because the pick up date was during the holidays but when I made the deal Mr BOB knew about that. I needed a certain pick up date and it did not happen.
