This is a follow up on my TFX review from 8/13/2007. I am still resolving damage done to my car while it was in the care of TFX in or nearly 18 months ago. The reason for this follow up is to further demonstrate the extent of the damage caused during TFX's care of my vehicle.

Due to my car being dropped on its transmission pan while in TFXs care - my vehicle required the transmission to be rebuilt (2nd gear would not engage). The main seal between the transmission and engine was leaking and had to be replaced. The freshly dented and damaged transmission oil pan also had to be replaced. Total cost of these repairs: $1,800.

I have not been able to locate a replacement interior transmission tunnel housing/center console for the one that was broken in transit. The housing/center console arrived broken in pieces where the console meets the dashboard. Based on consoles for similar vehicles, this will likely cost me $250. The custom airbrushed art on the console cannot be identically replaced. The custom installation of a LCD screen in the console will also be an undetermined additional expense.

The missing/stolen speakers, which were part of a matched set. I was able to locate a pair of speakers for approximately $190 and installed them myself.

Total costs resulting from TFX transportation so far: $2,040.
