Military personnel have to come out of pocket to move POV’s when you’re getting out so I looked this company up and gave them a shot.

I called the week prior requesting a pickup date for the following week because we were driving the other vehicle from San Diego to Ohio while this would be shipped. Ron seemed like he of might actually been able to help me out. The price he quoted me for was the cheapest I had found so far. Talked as if he would take care of my needs. I was wrong.

He told he and something for Monday for me. I agreed the paper work was created and I then went on to plan everything around us leaving as soon as the car picked up Monday.

I get a call from the driver on Monday saying they would be there tomorrow or Wednesday. Confused, I went ahead and called Ron about the situation. I told him to cancel the order because this was unacceptable. He gave me one date to expect pick up and that was Monday. Now he wants to mention that it’s typically a two day buffer for the driver to get to the pickup destination. I’m a reasonable person I can understand that. But what don’t understand is my paperwork only had one date on it Monday May 8th, and he told me over the phone that Monday the 8th would be the pickup date He the proceeds to tell me how he his sick and tired of dealing with people from SoCal. He goes on to tell me about how he had all these people, 5 to be exact, calling in about problems and he just tired of the headache.

But what don’t understand is my paperwork only had one date on it, Monday May 8th, and he told me over the phone that Monday the 8th would be the pickup date. Never was there any words about a 1-2 day buffer.

So I tell him to cancel the order. He the proceeds to tell me how he his sick and tired of dealing with people from SoCal. He goes on to tell me about how he had all these people, 5 to be exact, calling in that day about problems from the San Diego area and he just tired of the headache. He said he’s never doing business for anybody in SoCal from that day forward. So if you are from SoCal trying to have your vehicle transport across the country or wherever he’s going to deny you business just be aware of that.

And I’m no psychiatrist or therapist so idk why Ron felt the need to express his feelings to me about the other situations that happened that day. I was a customer, just like those other 5 people who called, just trying to get some resolve for a situation that didn’t go according to plan. He acted very childlike when o wanted to cancel and very unprofessional. I truly hope he does not continue to serve the San Diego area. I’ve already informed my old command and all my Military friends in to never use Sweet Spot Transport and I’ve made very clear to them to spread the word.

Thanks Ron but no thanks.

I was honest and transparent in customers expectations that some areas of the country can run behind schedule and San Diego is one of them. Because I explained in detail including the fact that each contract has a 1 or 2 day window for pick up and delivery based on weather, traffic or truck driver resting the customer only was interested an exact pick up time that no one can predict or forecast. Because of this the customer cancelled. I want to also note this happened in late April and 6 months later this customer wrote a poor review in bad faith. In his own statement he says I got the lower price for him in a competitive market. He also stated constant communication as well. He fails to mention he was not charged for an unneccessary cancellation and that I never kept any of his money at any time. As far as not shipping in and out of San Diego I reserve that right as a business decision. In fact this poor and unfair review makes my point that certain areas of the country can and HAS caused a problem for my reputation i.e.: this review. I don't know what any of this psycho babble is about.
