Terrible Service and Communication

I contacted Suncoast to transport my car from Minnesota to Maryland. During my first phone call, Mike told me that he could pick the car up that day or the next day. I called 3 days later to check the status and my car had not been picked up, nor had a driver even been found to pick it up. I called back a couple days later and talked to Christina who told me many of the drivers were off for the holidays but that it would definitely be picked up the following Monday or Tuesday. I called again on Wednesday and Mike answered the phone and told me everyone was sick at the office but he put me on hold to check with dispatch to see when my vehicle would be picked up. I waited on hold for 10 - 15 minutes and he never returned to the phone. I hung up and called back and no one answered so I called Christina's number and again no answer. All in all, I dealt with Suncoast for 9 days. And I mean exactly that. I dealt with them, they did not deal with me. I constantly asked them to contact me, return calls, and they said they would but never did. The only time they contacted me was when they initially gave me my quote. After that, I was the only one doing the calling. All that said, I spent 3 days driving to Minnesota myself to pick up the car and I would not use this company again if they offered there services for free. Not worth the aggrevation.

This customer booked with us 2 days before the New Year. Upon booking, we explained to him that many of the carriers would not be working over the holiday weekend since they take this time off to spend with family, but we would do our very best to find a carrier as soon as possible. We are very upfront with our customers and would never guarentee pick up right before a holiday unless we actually have a driver confirmed. If at any point our customer contacted us and did not recieve a call back on the same business day it was because our office was closed for the holiday which was stated at time of booking. We did everything we could to accomodate this customer. Also, we did in fact find a carrier for this person within a weeks time and upon calling him, he told us he planned to drive himself.
