Happy to have refund and decided to not ship vehicle

We have received the refund of our deposit and are no longer going to ship the vehicle. We had an agreed contract from November 2015 to pick up the vehicle on January 4, 2016 to transport to Alaska. After several calls to get the driver/carrier information, we were informed that a driver/carrier was not available to take the transport due to licensing issues on the part of the driver/carrier. While this may have been the case, it has still been very frustrating and we had to make some hard decisions based on the outcome. Vick was very apologetic and quick to get the refund processed after it was finally decided that this transport was not going to happen and we needed to come to a resolution.

We have decided to not entrust ANY transport company with the shipping of our vehicle. It seems from many reviews of this and other transport companies/brokers that this situation happens much to often leaving unsuspecting consumers in very difficult situations. We are just happy to have received the credit back for the return of the deposit made in good faith for a service that was never delivered, wherever the fault may rest. We hope anyone else needing this particular service has a good outcome.
