This was the first time I shipped a car from Alaska to the Lower 48, and admit to some nervousness when I began this process. After doing some research via the Web, I solicited bids from several brokers and companies as a result of various Google searches. After getting the bids, I researched the various bidders to see whether other people using their services had reported problems. State 2 State Auto Transport had the lowest bid coupled with trouble-free rating, so I contacted them to begin the shipping process. Shipping consisted of two legs - one via sea from Anchorage AK to the Tacoma WA, and the second via road to New Hampshire, so two different shippers and payments were required. At State 2 State, which served as the broker, Yali set up the arangements with the shippers and handled the paperwork, while Alina was my contact to track delivery progress. They were both a pleasure to work with - professional, courteous and prompt in addressing questions and providing assistance. When the vehicle arrived in New Hampshire, my son was able to set up a pickup site at a nearby truck stop since he didn't know if there would be enough room for the truck to maneuver in his neighborhood. My son told me that not only was the vehicle delivered undamaged but " watching them lower it to the ground (it was on the top deck of the truck) was one of the cooler things I have seen in a while." So, all-in-all a successful, stress-free operation once I found a reliable broker. I would not hesitate to use or recommend State 2 State.
