SUCH A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE !!!

I called 8/19/09 and submitted an on-line contract, after researching 8-10 companies. Reviews looked okay. Was told immediately by James that pick-up would be as soon as 2 days out !!! Sooner than needed. Faxed the contract. I called 8/24/09 to check assignment schedule...spoke with Jason...put on hold...after 12-15 minutes hung up !!! On 8/26/09 sent e-mail to inquire status of assignment, noting I could not make contact with company, always getting VM's. On 8/28/09 FINALLY actually able to talk with a 'real person', David. He tells me that James should have never given me such a low quote on 8/19/09 and that is why no one has ever contacted me.....like this is my fault, now !!! He told me that for an additional $130 above original quote, I would 'see action'. I agreed, reluctantly. I want my car. He tells me to only ask for him when calling again, and he'd call back today to keep me 'abreast' of action plan. Never heard back. BUT he gave me his personal number, 843-298-2011. I tried the number several times, only to find it a number that would not ring through !!! I called Speedy number 866-563-0757 (by now I know it by heart) and ask for David, telling persons answering I am told to ask for him personally...... referred VM and receive Freddie,. who tells me on VM my call is important......who the hell is Freddie !!!??? I send more e-mails....no response.

On Monday, August 31st, 2009 I call Speedy again and demand to speak with David.....and before being placed on hold again tell them I want to know the status of our contract that is now 13 days old, and my anger about this case. I am told they would voluntarily close out my contract that evening if they could not find a carrier !!! I told them to immediately remove me from their potential customers.....that I'd never been treated like this by a company before and I would e-mail a "CANCEL OUR ORDER" correspondence immediately !!!

Now I understand what 3 out of 5 stars means.....I am surprised it is a rating that high. It is now 2 days later....I have made contact with a national company and already have a carrier assigned !! That is what Speedy should have done!!!
