Poor communication Skills

Okay, First of all I spoke with James who was awesome on the phone, gave me a good quote and seemed relatively attentive. I should have been weary when he asked me to go ahead and give him a good review right then (which I did and I hope it gets deleted) I have no real problems with James per se, but ultimately he told me everything I wanted to hear and the company was not able to deliver. I scheduled a pickup for Thursday the 19th...I told him I could be flexible by a few days so I was not alarmed when Corey called to say that the driver could not pick up my vehicle until Friday or possibly Saturday- he said the driver would call me. Well, no one called on Friday, so I waited till Saturday to call and confirm the time the driver would pick up my vehicle. At first, I could not get a hold of anyone at speedy- I tried all options on the phone to get a live operator to no avail.....then several hours later(and a long hold time) someone finally gave me the phone number of the driver...sadly the # belonged to a towing company that did not answer the phone nor call me back when I left a message. I called speedy back around 2:30 to report that I had not heard from anyone and the person on the phone told me they would call the driver and then call me back with an update- by 4:00 no update and speedy is now closed. So...I called the towing company (the driver) back once again and left a seething message on the answering machine- I have been sitting around here all day and all I wanted was a simple phone call as to when they expect to arrive. This time the driver called me back only to tell me he was not in Florida and probably couldn't get my vehicle till Monday....needless to say I am pissed.... I have been sitting around here all day to get this news. If this was told to me at 8:00 this morning, I might have been a little understanding but not calling me or answering my calls is unacceptable! i am a busy person...I think speedy needs to reimburse me for my lost time today. Be weary of their promises!
